Find yourself a calm, relaxing space where you won't be disturbed. This can be, for example, your bedroom or your bathroom.
Collect together the following items: moisturising cream, lip balm, water spray, body sprays, face masks, nail varnishes, hand cream, shower creams and gels, shower scrubs and a scrubber, shampoo and conditioner, toothbrush/toothpaste/mouthwash, hair towel, shaving creams / shaver, a hairbrush and dryer. You may also want calming music, magazines / books, refreshments.
Run yourself a warm (not hot or cold) shower or bath. Wash your hair thoroughly.
Take a long bath or shower. Spoil yourself and use those shower gels and other bath essentials.
Wrap the towel around your hair. Put on a bathrobe or pyjamas.
